You can add source tracking code to any of your actions to receive extra data about where your supporters are signing and completing your actions.
To get started add “/?source=TestingSource” to the end of any action url.
For example: https://actionsprout.io/F4AEB5/?source=twitter. I will now share that particular link on Twitter to see how many of my action takers are completing the action on Twitter.
I could create a second link https://actionsprout.io/F4AEB5/?source=shawn to record how many action completions Shawn scores using this personal link.
At the end of your campaign, you’ll export your action data to see the results of your source code.
You’ll need to look all the way at the end of the csv file under column X Source:
If the Source is “Shawn”, that means that particular action taker completed the action using Shawn’s link. Same logic for “Twitter” and “actionsprout.com:embed”.
