How to send a “thank you” email to supporters who complete your actions

ActionSprout actions come with the option to set up an auto-responder “thank you” email, that is delivered to supporters just minutes after they complete your action.

You’ll find this feature under the Auto-Responders tab when creating a new action or editing an old one:

Open this tab and select the Thank you email option:

Now simply fill in the “thank you” email you’d like to send supporters once they complete your action:

Some email ideas:

  • Simply thank them for their support!
  • Follow up with a small donation appeal “can you pitch in $5?”
  • Follow up with more ways to get involved like events and volunteering
  • Include more information about the cause and what is at stake
