If you have an important campaign that you’d like to push out to a wider audience on Facebook, ActionSprout actions, in addition to Facebook Ads Manager, is the best way to go. Through this pairing, your campaign will be both Facebook and mobile-optimized, as well as targeted toward any audience that you’d like to reach.
This is also one of the simplest ways to promote your campaign.
On the first page, find the green “Create Ad” button:
Next, select “Boost your posts” from the list of ad options:
Name your ad campaign and move to the next page, where you’ll select the audience that you’d like your campaign to reach. Notice the Audience Definition dial on the right-hand side when selecting your audience. You’ll want the arrow to be in the green zone. When you’re done defining your audience, move on to the next page.
Now you’ll select your action post to boost. On the left side of your Page, select the Facebook Page that the action was posted to. Once selected, that Page’s posts will populate the lower drop-down menu. Open this menu and find your action post. You’ll see a preview of your ad on the right of your screen.
Once you’re happy with your ad, click the “Place order” button.
Your ad will be placed in review with Facebook’s ad team, then accepted and launched—usually within the hour or so. You’ll be able to see the status of your ads back on the first page of your Ads Manager.
And that’s it! All action data will flow into your ActionSprout account and appear on your action’s activity page:
