ActionSprout gives you the option to set up an automatic donation receipt email, for donors who just gave through a donation action. Once set up, this receipt email will reach the donor’s inbox just a few minutes after they give.
To get started open the action editing screen and select the Auto Responders tab at the top. Then switch on Donation Receipt Email:
This will then open a blank email form where you can create your receipt. Decide who you would like the email to come from, the subject line and what information should be includes in the receipt (the body section or your email).
When creating your receipt email be sure to take advantage of Smart Includes. Smart Includes are a fast and easy way to auto customize an email with name or an donation amount. Simply follow the given formate.
