Getting Started With Donations
ActionSprout supports credit card payments via Stripe integration. Once you have connected your ActionSprout account to your Stripe account you can turn on payment collection on a action by action basis.
To set up your Stripe account and begin accepting payments, follow these simple steps.
1. Log into your ActionSprout account.
Open the Settings tab then, Integrations.
2. Scroll down and find Stripe.
Connect an existing Stripe account or easily create a new one at Stripe.com.
Stripe is free and easy to set up. You’ll need your organization’s Tax ID #, bank account and routing number to complete the sign-up form.
3. Sync your actions
Once you have Stripe connected you can enable donations and payments on a per action basis.
Simply open the Edit tab on the action.
Scroll to the very bottom to view the donation configurations. You can configure the options displayed in the dollar amounts, add a description and chose your currency.
Action takers now have the ability to quickly and easily pay by inputting their credit card information directly inside Facebook after taking an ActionSprout action.
The payment information is passed directly to your connected Stripe account and immediately processed by stripe and deposited to your bank account per stripe’s terms of service. All refunds and chargeback activity is managed through Stripe.
The payment amount is recorded in the ActionSprout record for that activity and is available in the export.
