Let’s look at a donation example to see how it works! We'll be using the following live Social Action as our working example.

On Facebook your new Social Action will appear as a link post. That means a large featured image, title and the first few lines of your donation appeal will all appear in the post. As with all posts, you can write a message at the top too.

When a supporter decides to give, they click the button representing the amount. This will open a new payment window powered by Stripe where they will be asked for card number, expiration date and the CVC. 

That’s it! 

It only takes one click to view your donation appeal and Stripe asks for only the info they need to complete the transaction. The donor's name and email address is stored for you inside your ActionSprout account where you can export it as a CSV file at any time. Their donation will be captured in your Stripe account.


Once someone completes the Social Action, they will be asked to share it to their personal timeline. 

This shared post is a full copy of the Social Action they just completed. Anyone can click on their post and complete the action themselves, and chose to share it again.
