Want to send ActionSprout data to external services through Webhooks? Here's do to do so.

Getting started

Log into ActionSprout and select the Facebook Page you'd like to work with from the Accounts screen.

Open Social Actions found in the left hand menu, and click on Integrations:

Find Webhooks in the list of integrations, click Add Webhooks, and enter the URL that you want ActionSprout to post the data to:

Note: We recommend using a URL with HTTPS to secure the data that you're transferring.

Now, whenever your organization creates an action via ActionSprout, data about the event will automatically be sent to the URL you've configured! Easy, right?

Data sent will appear as JSON objects through POST requests. Each hook will contain type and data keys.

Types of Hooks

action_taken – Received when someone completes an action.
create_or_update_contact – Received when a new person is added to your account or when we received updated information about a person in your account.
